Jesus is the physical representation of God.
Throughout my life God has been physically present through people more than in any other way. There is no single person—but Jesus—who can represent God completely—no one. But I believe everyone has the potential to reveal something of God.

Our world will always need Christ but there are times when that need is more obvious. Few would argue the existence of that need right now, and indeed many are asking, “Where is God?” We look out and see darkness, but there is light and if we each take a moment to look we will find it.
So what do we do? If our world is dark and we see some flicker of light then we need to make that light known. We need to share what we see.
“Right away the news about him spread throughout the entire region of Galilee.” Mark 1:28 CEB
What the world needs now is Jesus. I am convinced that the solutions we seek…to most things…begin with each person sharing with others how they see God’s light. We need the simple everyday reminders, we need the stories that require a bit of vulnerability, we need the ones that seem insignificant. We need to affirm one another when we see God through them. We can’t afford to simply rely on a select few to show God to us. The clearest image of Christ requires everyone. You are needed, and your story is needed, too. Look for God and when you see, no matter whether it seems significant enough, share it with someone. If someone shares with you how they’ve experienced God revealed, be grateful and affirm it.
It is time for the church to step up as the collective vision of many parts that God designed. us to become.
What do you see?

“Because of the grace that God gave me, I can say to each one of you: don’t think of yourself more highly than you ought to think. Instead, be reasonable since God has measured out a portion of faith to each one of you.” Romans 12:3 CEB
